गंगाजल में बैट्रिया फोस नामक बैक्टीरिया पाया जाता है। यह पानी के अंदर रसायनिक क्रियाओं से उत्पन्न होने वाले अवांछनीय पदार्थों को खाता रहता है। इससे जल की शुद्धता बनी रहती है।

गंगा के पानी में बट्रिया फॉस नाम का बैक्टीरिया पाया जाता है । यह पानी के अंदर रासायनिक प्रतिक्रियाओं से उत्पन्न अवांछित पदार्थों को खाता है । इससे पानी की शुद्धता बनी रहती है ।
