घग्घर नदी (सरस्वती) जो कभी राजस्थान के रास्ते नर्मदा में मिल जाती थी और अरब सागर में गिरती थी, लेकिन पृथ्वी के विक्षोभ के कारण उसकी धारा (आंतरिक) इलाहाबाद में गंगा में मिल गई। भूवैज्ञानिक बताते हैं।
